She had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned and had to walk home alone. She wasn’t afraid, because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a shortcut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he was waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God’s protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped around her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in

Each time a sick person uses it, you gain. 3) Participate in building an orphanage, hospital, school or college. When anybody uses it, you gain. 4) Place a water cooler in a public place. Whenever anyone drinks from the water, you gain. 5) Plant a tree. Whenever someone or an animal sits in its shade or eats from it, you gain. 6) And the easiest of all is to share this message with people. Dyer: I was preparing to speak at an I-Can-Do-It conference and I decided to bring an orange on stage with me as a prop for my lecture. I opened a conversation with a bright young fellow of about twelve who was sitting in the front row. “If I were to squeeze this orange as hard as I could, what would come out?” I asked him. He looked at me like I was a little crazy and said, “Juice, of course.” “Do you think apple juice could come out of it?” “No!” he laughed. “What about grapefruit juice?” “No!” “What would come out of it?” “Orange juice, of course.” “Why? Why when you squeeze an orange does orange juice come out?” He may have been getting a little exasperated with me at this point. “Well, it’s an orange and that’s what’s inside.” I nodded. There are five sponges laying on your kitchen countertop. Each member of your family has been cleaning up different areas of your home, but all the sponges look the same. You are curious as to what was cleaned in your home, but you can’t tell by looking…they all look the same….so what do you do? You squeeze each sponge to see what comes out. As you squeeze the first sponge, you see that cola comes out, and so you decide that someone cleaned the kitchen with that one. Upon squeezing the second sponge, you find tub and tile cleaner – that one was used to clean the bathroom. Next, in the third sponge, you find motor oil — hubby was cleaning the garage! In the fourth sponge, baby powder puffs out when it is squeezed – yep the baby’s nursery was done with that one! And finally, in the last one, is floor wax — that was the one you used on the hall floor! As you lay the last one down, you look again at their similarity – and they all look the same until

He scuffed his shoes into the grass; he found a caterpillar. He found a fluffy milkweed pod, and blew out all the “filler.” A bird’s nest in a tree overhead, so wisely placed on high, Was just another wonder that caught his eager eye. A neighbor watched his zig zag course, and hailed him from the lawn, Asked him where he’d been that day and what was going on. “I’ve been to Bible School,” he said and turned a piece of sod. He picked up a wiggly worm replying, “I’ve learned a lot of God.” “M’m very fine way,” the neighbor said, “for a boy to spend his time.” “If you’ll tell me where God is, I’ll give you a brand new dime.” Quick as a flash the answer came!
