I CHOOSE to TRUST in God and leave it in His hands. I CHOOSE to LOVE my neighbour and treat them with respect. I CHOOSE to RESPOND like Jesus when anger starts to rise. I CHOOSE to FORGIVE others because Christ first forgave me. I CHOOSE to Live in God’s peace when I give Him my concerns. I CHOOSE to BE LED by God’s Spirit and walk in His power each day. I CHOOSE to BECOME more like Jesus and walk in His victory. I CHOOSE to OFFER praise to God when my soul is overwhelmed. I CHOOSE to SET my mind on Christ, not on worldly distractions. When we PRAISE GOD and give Him all we are, He gives us this in return: He sees us as a PRINCESS — When we praise God and understand He is the king of kings, and He is our Father, we learn to see ourselves as we really are. He sees us in a ROBE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS — When we praise God and accept the price Jesus paid, He gives us a new ‘wardrobe’ of purity. He sees us with ACCEPTANCE — God loves us more than we can possibly grasp, and accepts us for who we are. He sees us as INVALUABLE — We are worth more than rubies. We are unique and irreplaceable. He sees us with STRENGTH — As we praise Him, His Holy Spirit gives us strength to face the day. He sees us with EXCELLENCE — As we look to Him with love, He gives us the reason to do our best. When I created the heavens and the earth, I spoke them into being. When I created man, I formed him and breathed life into his nostrils. But you woman, I fashioned after I breathed the breath of life into man because your nostrils are too delicate. I allowed a deep sleep to come over him so I could patiently and perfectly fashion you. Man was put to sleep so that he could not interfere with the creativity. From one bone I fashioned you. I chose the bone that protects his heart and his lungs and supports him, as you are meant to do. Around this one bone, I shaped you. I modeled you. I created you perfectly and beautifully. Your characteristics are as the rib, strong yet delicate and fragile. You provide protection for the most delicate organ in man, his heart. His heart is the centre of his being; his lungs hold the breath of life. The rib cage will allow itself to be broken before it allows damage to the heart. Support the man as the rib cage supports the body. You were not taken from his feet, to be under him, nor were you taken from his head, to be above him. Thanks for listening to me, God. I need to talk to you. I know you love your children, Lord, no matter what they do. And though I try to do my best, I know I always should, but I’m not perfect or grown up, sometimes I’m not quite good. Right now, my heart is cold and stained with dirt and grime and sin. I need forgiveness bubbles, please, to make it clean again. If you wash my heart again and rinse away the stain, the wicked things I’ve said and done will go right down the drain. My heart feels very dirty, God, won’t you please scrub it bright? When you forgive me once again. My heart will be snow white. Please help me keep my heart clean, Lord and teach me to do right. Help me keep my heart forever shinny penny bright. But if I happen to mess up and need another scrub, I know you won’t forget me, God, just plop me in your tub! Lots of folks don’t understand forgiveness from above. They don’t know how my heart feels when it is bathed in love. When I am sorry, you forgive the problem doesn’t matter; when my heart is brand-new, clean, my ugly feelings scatter. I’m growing up, and as I do, you’ll help me through
