What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it? What if we flipped through it several times a day? What if we used it to receive messages from the text? What if we thought we couldn’t live without it? What if we gave it to children as gifts? What if we used it as we travelled? What if we used it in case of an emergency? This is something to make you go… hmmm… where is my Bible? And unlike our cell phone, we don’t ever have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because the bill has already been paid! Meditation: but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. – Matthew 6:20-21 You Will Succeed in Jesus Name! Seeing the nearby shelter, the lamb made a quick decision and dashed through a narrow opening in the wall.
He had dashed into the temple. The wolf, smiling a wicked smile, said, “You might as well come out; the priest will slay you if he catches you in there.” The lamb thought momentarily and then replied, “I choose to stay here.” “It is better to be sacrificed to God in His house than to leave it and be devoured by you.” Ultimately, Satan’s goal is to destroy all who are in bondage to him, while God sets at liberty those in His care. God wants us to be a “living sacrifice” for Him. Which will you choose? Meditation: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. – Romans 12:1 You Will Succeed in Jesus Name! One day, the dog starts chasing butterflies, and before long, he discovers that he is lost. Wandering about, he notices a leopard heading rapidly in his direction with the obvious intention of having lunch. The dog thinks, “Boy, I’m in deep doo-doo now.” Then, he noticed some bones on the ground close by and immediately settled down to chew on the bones with his back to the approaching cat. Just as the leopard is about to leap, the dog exclaims loudly, “Man, that was one delicious leopard. I wonder if there are any more around here?” Hearing this, the leopard halts his attack in mid-stride, as a look of terror comes over him, and slinks away into the trees. “Whew,” says the leopard, “That was close. That dog nearly had me.” Meanwhile, a monkey who had been watching the whole scene from a nearby tree figures can put this knowledge to good use and trade it for protection from the leopard. So, off he goes. But the
