I had a little puppy dog
That loved to chase his tail.
He was especially quick,
And he chased it very well.
Although he never caught that tail
He kept it on the run
And got a lot of exercise
From dawn ‘til setting sun.
But there was nothing he could chew on
When he finally took his rest,
Although no one could ever say
He didn’t try his best.
That’s a lot like chasing dreams
You can’t hope to attain—
You can chase them all your life,
But your chase will be in vain;
But if you aim at things in front
That you can clearly see,
You’ll find that they are stepping stones
Toward where you want to be.

Meditation: Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 3:13-14
You will succeed in Jesus Name!
